My bookshelf is STUFFED with books on marketing & craft. I loved "Getting Known Before the Book Deal" by Christine Katz. For craft, my favorite is Jordan Rosanfeld's "Make a Scene."

I had never heard of Kremer's book before - thanks for that. And your guides look great, too. I've just gotten a handle on the blog and am now gearing up for Twitter & FB. I've got your page bookmarked for when I get there.

Dana, thanks for the nice post and additional links to good resources. I've found your books most helpful in learning the marketing side of the business. Aaron Shepard's books and site are great resources too.

For those who want a how-to book on creating their blog or RSS feeds, they may want to check out my series at www.JustTheFAQs.net. All the training material is written for non-geeks.

I have one whole cabinet of books on marketing, publishing, writing, and editing. Some of them are printouts of Dana Lynn Smith's books (I know, not environmentally sound, but I really can't read on a screen!) and I loved some of the specific information in Aaron's book. I continue to use them to research my own books, too (www.budurl.com/CarolynsAmazProfile). Some of you may find references in them to your own books. (-:
