Welcome to my weekly roundup of marketing tips and news for authors.
Promote Your Book with Freemiums
Everyone loves getting something for free, and free items (known as freemiums) are a great way to promote books. Nonfiction authors can give away free reports, videos or audios related their book's topic or offer free teleseminars to promote the book. Novelists can give away sample chapters, short stories, or prequels to their books. Just make sure that the free item you're giving away includes a promotion for your book.
